All of our CPD fitness courses are endorsed and accredited by REPS (Register of Exercise Professionals), CIMSPA (Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity), and PD Approval.

This qualification is learnt via OriGym's "Student Zone" platform via interactive e-learning that has set assignments and quizzes, which are multiple choice and 100% is required to pass. You will get unlimited and free re-tries as with all our courses.

This qualification is applicable for those both with a Level 3 sports massage qualification and above and for fitness professionals that hold a minimum of a Level 2 Fitness Instructing in Gym Award. 

The rate of course completion is down to you as an individual, but the guided learning hours is 12 hours of study and takes the average student around 2 weeks to qualify.

This online course will provide you with the information needed to have an underpinning knowledge around electrotherapy and its applications. By the end of the course, you will be able to understand the concept of electrotherapy, its history, the link to the pain gait theory, contraindications and precautions, the types of electrotherapy and common injuries that it can be applied to. You will also gain an understanding of how you as a practitioner can look to add electrotherapy to your toolkit to work with current and future clients. It’s important to note that this course doesn’t certify or confirm you are safe to practice electrotherapy, this is simply a course to provide you with the theory around electrotherapy. For you to interpret and look to clinically justify it, if this is something you wish to pursue further with.
