Absolutely! We’ve qualified many physically impaired individuals and helped them go on to have successful personal training careers. We have centres that accommodate for the physically impaired, which are fully equipped with lifts, ramps and disabled toilets

As well as offering flexible payment plans for all students, funding streams for students are available through our OriGym partners. 

OriGym has partnerships  with the PFA (Players Football Association), who provide funding for current and former professional footballers, as well as the PCA (Professional Cricketers’ Association), who help current and former professional cricketers with funding towards their qualifications. The RPA (Rugby Players Association) can also help with discounts for current and former rugby professionals.

Current and former military personnel can get funding for qualifications that are Level 3 and above through the MOD (Ministry of Defence).

Evidence of affiliation with an organisation is required and funding is subject to checks from the organisation.

Of course! Our online and part-time courses are completely flexible. These courses are self-paced, meaning there are no fixed start dates or deadlines. 

Learning via our online platform means that you’ll be able to study from the comfort of your own home, or anywhere you like, at a time that suits you. This allows our students to complete their qualification alongside full-time work or other existing commitments.

Yes, our student alumni have gone on to have successful personal training careers working for our partner gyms, including Virgin Active, JD Gyms, Everlast Gyms, and The Gym Group. Other students have gone on to work for independent studios, such as Crew42 in Liverpool or Easy St. in Manchester.

We’re proud that over 92% of our students go on to work in the fitness industry after completing their course - the highest work placement rate among training providers. 

Many of our students have even started their own personal training businesses. Take, Heather Hacking, after completing her level 2 and 3 qualifications with OriGym, she went on to start her very own fitness business which was shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Breakthrough Personal Trainer’ category at Northern Ireland’s Health & Fitness Awards.

Our dedicated post-course support team is here to make this a possibility for all OriGym  students. Some of the services we offer include guaranteed job interviews, CV analysis and distribution, interview preparation, business consultations, and marketing resources.

Our personal training students have access to a wide range of learning and support resources including unlimited access to the support of our in-house tutors, who are available by phone, chat box and email, 7 days per week. 

If you choose to study online or part-time, you’ll also be granted access to OriGym’s multi-award nominated e-learning platform, where you’ll access online lectures, videos, exercise library, interactive learning modules, quizzes and assignments. If you want to complete our personal training course full-time, you’ll split your studies between our purpose-built classroom and a personal training studio, where you’ll be taught directly by our team of expert tutors. 

After you qualify you will also have access to our free business and marketing course and you’ll have the unlimited support of our post course support team, who are here to help you find work in the fitness industry.

Our in-person or ‘full-time’ personal training courses run Monday-Friday, from 9am to 5:30pm, over a period of 4 consecutive weeks. Students are taught in our dedicated classroom and have access to gym facilities for all practical learning and assessments. 

OriGym’s online courses are taught via our award-nominated interactive learning platform. Our online course is completely self-paced - there are no deadlines or set assessment dates, allowing students complete flexibility over their studies.

Online students also have the full support of our expert tutors, who are here to answer any questions over the phone, via email, or through our instant chat box service. Tutors are available 7 days a week, including evenings, to ensure that we can accommodate all students, regardless of their schedule.

We also offer part-time courses, which combine online study and practical learning. This study method is also known as ‘blended learning’ as students have access to all online materials and tutor support, as well as in-person practical workshops.

All exams and assessments are the same regardless of the study method you choose.

All of our personal training courses are accredited by CIMSPA, regulated by Ofqual and awarded by Focus Awards.

We’re also fully ISO9001 certified, meaning all of our teaching processes are held to the highest standards.

We own many of our training venues through our sister company, which massively reduces our overheads. At OriGym, we want our courses to be obtainable for anyone who wants to start a career in the fitness industry, which is why we pass these savings on to our students in the form of lower fees.

Unlike many of our competitors, we do not apply any unnecessary additional admin fees or charge for resits, meaning there are no hidden fees associated with our courses.
